IN LOVING MEMORY OF

KEVIN KIMANI CHEGE

Sunrise March 23, 1982:  Sunset March 13, 2001

Think not only upon his passing, but remember the glory of his spirit!!

Memories are treasures no one can steal.  It takes us back to brighter years, to happier sunlit days, to precious golden moments that will always be with us.  It has been one year since you left us and joined the immortals.  A world we believe will treat you well.  We are told to accept the inevitability of death but this has been very difficulty as on that day the light from our beloved Kevin was extinguished.  No words can ever express life without you and your ever present and infectious glowing smiles and love for everybody.  No one is likely to forget seeing that little boy grow to a fine young man.  During these past 12 months, we have yearned for your love and social qualities.  We thank God for the years He gave you to us.  You are truly missed by: your mom Martha Nduta Kimani, your sister Pauline Njeri Chege, your dad Joseph Chege Kimani, family and friends in California, Seattle, Washington, USA and Kenya at large.  A memorial service will be held at the graveside on Sunday, March 10, 2002 at Sunset View Cemetery, El Cerrito California, USA.

Kevin will always be in our hearts.

We love him and miss him but

We know God loved him more.

GOD BELL HIS SOUL

A specialist medical team took the body for a special investigations. The family has finally arrived in London to collect the body. Unfortunately none of the blood family members was given the visa in Nairobi. Only the brother-in-law of the late Jane Kariuki, Mr. Victor Malu who was given the visa. Mr. Malu was  suppose to travel with the the late Jane Kariuki's brother but he was not given the visa. News of the death of late Jane Kariuki has spread in London like bush fire. This is because the local newspaper, The Post, covering the Barking and Dagenham has carried the late Jane's story as the lead story covering  the front page. The contents of the story in The Post has not been received well by the family and Kenyans in London as the newspaper claimed that according to information from the late Jane's fiancé, Mr. Raymond, the family cannot afford to transport the late Jane's body back to Kenya. Hence, Mr. Raymond has appealed to well wishers to contribute to help him to bury the late Jane in UK. He did this without consulting the family, the Kenya High Commission nor the Kenya community in UK.
