Don't Ever Stop Dreaming Your Dreams
Don't ever be reluctant
to show your feelings when
you're happy, give in to it.
When you're not, live with it.
Don't ever be afraid to
try to make things better you might
be surprised at the results.
Don't ever take the weight of the
world on your shoulders.
Don't ever feel threatened by the future,
take life one day at a time.
Don't ever feel guilty about the past
what's done is done.
Learn from any mistakes you might have made.
Don't ever feel that you are alone
there is always somebody there
for you to reach out to.
Don't ever forget that you can achieve
so many of the things you can imagine. ...
It's not as hard as it seems.
Don't ever stop loving
don't ever stop believing,
don't ever stop dreaming your dreams.
A Present Day Truth
This is as insightful, as it is scary. A Columbine student wrote it.
"The paradox of our time in history is that we have taller buildings, but shorter tempers; wider freeways, but narrower viewpoints; we spend more, but have less; we buy more, but enjoy it less.
We have multiplied our possessions, but reduced our values. We talk too much, love too seldom, and hate too often. We've learned how to make a living, but not a life; we've added years to life, not life to years. We've been all the way to the moon and back, but have trouble crossing the street to meet the neighbour.
We've conquered outer space, but not inner space; we've cleaned up the air, but polluted the soul; we've split the atom, but not our prejudice.
We have higher incomes, but lower morals; we've become long on quantity, but short on quality. These are the times of tall men, and short character; steep profits, and shallow relationships.
These are the times of world peace, but domestic warfare; more leisure, but less fun; more kinds of food, but less nutrition. These are the days of two incomes, and more divorce; of fancier houses, but broken homes."
It is a time when there is too much in the show window and nothing in the stockroom; a time when technology can bring this letter to you, and a time when you can choose either to make a difference, or just hit delete. WHO
ARE ACHIEVERS?
Achievers are men and women who refuse to accept failures that confront them on every side they turn to in life. They rebel against failure.
Achievers break the iron gates between failure and success, and walk into success.
Achievers know that the other side of the coin labelled ‘failure’ is success.
Achievers see failure, taste it and fail, but they refuse to accept failure. They insist on turning the other side labelled ‘success’, for that is their goal.
Achievers discourage their discouragement. They are dangerous to dangers.
Achievers see stumbling blocks as stepping-stones on their way to success. They also know that failure is at the entrance gate of success.
Achievers know that ‘all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to His purpose.’ (Romans 8:28) They know that every obstacle is a passing phase in life.
Achievers see God’s perfection in every situation. They know that their tomorrow will be better than their yesterday and today.
Achievers are men and omen whose inadequacies and physical handicaps become access roads to favour and success. (Luke 19-Zacchaeus). They turn disappointment into God’s appointment. (Joseph and Jephthah).
Achievers reproduce themselves (Elijah and Elisha) they kill every lion on their way to victory (Samson)
Achievers continue even when others have stopped. They work when others are playing. They turn trials into triumphs, their mistakes into miracles. They know that the ridiculous leads to the miraculous.
Achievers turn dis-favour into divine favour. They turn tears into cheers. They turn unfortunate situations into fortunes. They know that weeping may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning.
Achievers know that the night does not last forever. Achievers know how to invent new ideas from broken and failed dreams.
Achievers take advantage of their disadvantages. They know that quality decisions determine their height in life.
Achievers know that men who refuse to change often end up in chains.
Achievers know that TIME is the only currency God gas given to them for any transaction on earth. All they have is TIME. All they need is TIME. Their language is ‘Time is tell’
Achievers know that they are not questions but answers to their generation.
Achievers know that they are created to solve problems. They know that their success in life depends on the quality and quantity of problems they solve.
Achievers rule their circumstances. They know that life is an echo, what you put into it is what you get out.
Achievers know that the intensity of God’s dealings with a man depends on what God wants to do with him. They know that you cannot possess what you have not pursued. They know that the secret of success is divine creativity, which is the ability to do things the way others have not done before.
Achievers are not intimidated by the present opinions of their critic. They rejoice over other people’s success. They know that nobody has the monopoly of success.
Achievers are aware that all great men and women attract satanic attention. Therefore, they are not ignorant of the devil’s devices.
Achievers know that any road without obstacles leads nowhere. They know that the way to keep your seed is to sow it.
Achievers see beyond the present sacrifices. They know there is light at the end of a dark tunnel.
Achievers know that satan attacks those who are next in line for promotion.
Achievers know that anyone who lives in his past has divorced himself from his future. They have learnt that if you hold the past with your two hands, you will have no other hand to hold the present and the future.

Failure doesn’t mean you are a failure …..
it does mean you haven’t succeeded yet.

it does mean you have learned something.

it does mean you have a lot of faith.
