Dear Friends & Partners,

Amazing Grace 21 days prayer and fasting is from 10^th to 31^st January 2003. If you would like to participate please sign up through email or call for the prayer agenda by 7^th January 2003.

 

Join us in praising the lord for the divine appointment and election of Kenya’s new government and congratulate his Excellency President Mwai Kibaki as the Kenya’s 3^rd president. All those friends and partners that prayed and stood in the gap for the Lord’s intervention in Kenya, God bless you and know that you will enjoy the fruit.

 

We also Thank God for our American Partners and co-workers Rev. Leonard Preston Jr. from Cornerstone Church in St. Antonio Texas, Rev Marsha Grant of the fathersway Church from Warrenton Virginia. They risked their lives by obeying the Lord and accepting to accompany Rev Grace kariuki, founder and director Amazing Grace Ministries and Minister Esther Kibunja who are from Kenya. By faith they prophesied great blessings over the nation of Kenya at such a time like this when the campaigning for the new government was at its peak. May the Lord reward you with great nations as you prophesy before kings.

November 26^th was our arrival to Kenya and we had a great time at the Cornerstone Academy’s class of 2002 graduation.

 

November 27^th to 1^st December believers conference and crusade in Kampala Uganda. The lord provided for the ministers’ travel to Africa beginning the mission in Uganda. It was a great time of impartation as Rev Preston, Rev Marsha Grant and Rev Grace kariuki all ministered in a powerful way as the Lord honored us with His presence. The delegates attending were from Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda and Sudan. The next  Amazing Grace conference and  crusade in Kampala will be in December 2003. We had people come into the meetings some insane receiving their salvation and deliverances. Reports are that those new believers have become members of the body of Christ and serving the lord. Pastor Haggai and Ev. Lazarus Gitonga did a tremendous job to ensure that all the guest  speakers and delegates were taken care of with the little funding that was available.  Amazing grace worship team from Kenya ministered with great anointing as they ministered in new Amazing Grace songs.

 

December 6^th 7:00 pm. Amazing Grace Ministries hosted the Youth for Christ concert at Towne view Baptist Church in Kennesaw Georgia. The youth attended in big numbers and were really ministered to. Well done Peris Judy and your team for that great treat.

 

December 3^rd to 4th Conference at Deliverance Church Matasia, Dec.5th – 8^th Conference at Deliverance Church Loresho and City Center were awesome with the mighty move of God’s power. The ministry of our Minister for health Esther Kibunja was really embraced with the Kenyans now ready to change their eating habits so that God will be glorified in healthy temples which is Gods holy habitation.

 

Friday Dec.6^th, Amazing Grace Partners Dinner in Nairobi, Kenya. Nairobi. Was well attended and we had great time of fellowship and ministry. The landowner selling the building for the children’s home could not give us an okay to purchase the building until after the elections. Now that we have a new government we a re believing God for the release so that we can have the orphanage begin. We had time to visit and give Christmas tokens to the following children’s homes, Rev. Preston, Marsha. Esther Kibunja and Grace visited the Huruma (Mercy) Children’s home in Matasia with about 130 children from the streets and orphans some as young as 6months. They need prayers, volunteers and funding it was difficult to minister later that evening at DC Matasia due to the pathetic situation of the children.

 

At Shangilia Mtoto Wa Africa (Hail the child of Africa) in kangemi slums with about 200 children from the streeets and slums. They are focused and gifted in Theatre. They travel and participate in international performances. They raise some of their funds through theatre performance. They need funding to build and land to expand They’ve been to Germany, France, and South Africa and now are planning to come to United States soon.

 

 Watu Wa Maana (very important people) Children’s home in Ruiru. We spent more time in this center and the Lord was speaking to Amazing Grace ministries to adapt this center that is so needful. They have children abused in all was, rapes, sodomised, drugs and some are orphans and the volunteers are working very hard to rehabilitate them. Someone donated land for them to put up structure, praise the Lord! If you are interested in adopting or assisting any of these children in schooling or their building project, we will post their pictures on the web and at the bulletin board at Faith Christian Church and international outreach center in Warrenton, Virginia

 

The 3year Olds to be taken care of by Amazing Grace Ministries are the fifth generation of the street children and families. We learned that the street children and families have their own government and headquarters in Nairobi.God is really moving the hearts of Gospel ministers in Kenya and the Church is addressing the issue of the aids orphans. Rev. Grace discussed and prayed at length with Evangelist Teresia Wairimu of Faith evangelistic Ministries at FEM office in Ngara-Nairobi and Bishop Margaret Wanjiru of Jesus is Alive Ministries with the great TV program the glory is here at JIAM office in Wakulima –Nairobi. All are coming up with solutions on how their ministries will care for the orphans’ as part of the gospel of Christ.

 

 Dec.9th to 15th Conquerors’ Conference at Deliverance Church Zimmerman was awesome and refreshing with great time of intimacy with the Lord so that we can be fruitful. We had great deliverances and many giving their lives to Christ. There was a great manifestation of Gods power. Can’t wait for the next conqueror’s conference.

 

 Dec. 20^th to 23^rd  London Crusades together with Lighthouse Church in Northampton was great as the Lord moved in an awesome way saving,  healing and bringing deliverances. It was a great time of celebration as our partner Edith Murua who is over 60 years gave her testimony of how she had traveled all the way to accompany Rev Grace in her London and USA mission from Kenya. Edith will be in our Baltimore revival mission. Our next crusade in Northampton and Luton will be on 7^th to 9^th February. Dear Friends & Partners,

 Greetings in the precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ our partners and friends. Thanks once again for your prayers and support in all the missions. Our lord Jesus has been exalted and we have seen Him draw all kind of people to Himself. He has saved, healed, delivered and filled many with the power of the Holy Spirit.

 

October 18^th 19^th 20^th monthly miracle crusade. Atlanta, Georgia. God moved in a powerful way and we could not stand in His presence as one of our Partners was receiving healing. Our minister of health Minister Esther Kibunjas testimony was powerful and many promised to be obedient in eating and living right. We had partners from Boston and Alabama participate. The New Amazing Grace Worship team of the newly saved was formed.  Thanks Peris Judy and your team for the great sacrifice.

 

October 25^th-27^th Crusade In His Grace Ministries, Brooklyn, New York. The kesha was prophetic and  powerful.  We had training on evangelism on Saturday before getting into the field for the awesome harvest of 25 souls.  The members decided to be having a monthly outreach in the streets. On Sunday all the 12 visitors gave their life to Christ. Drs. & Pastors Mungai are winning New York for Jesus.

 

November 8^th- 10^th  Crusade at Sifa Christian Center in Houston Texas. There was a great harvest of souls. Pastor James & Lillian you are doing an awesome job for the Kingdom. We also had a great time of Fellowship at Pastors Paul and Pauline Akatsa of Salt and light church who gave us a great praise report on the new wine that God is pouring at Salt and light Church. Houston people getting your new wine skins for the new wine.

(B) The Night with Jesus and crusade in Seattle Washington. The young people had an Amazing Grace weekend with Jesus in Seattle and we thank God for Our national Coordinator Sister Judy, Cathy and Bro. Kiama for representing partners from other states, Pastor Mbogo for his great support, Sister Mary, bro. Mbatai the Kenya Christian fellowship Chairman in Seattle and the amazing grace team who did an awesome job planning, hosting and welcoming our partners from other states.

 

November 15^th to 17^th The Night with Jesus and crusade at Eliott Presbyterian Church in Lowell MA. What an awesome harvest of 10 souls that gave their lives to Christ. Some had just heard about the meeting the same day they got saved.  We had our partners from New Jersey led by the Chairman of the Kenya Christian fellowship in NJ Bro. Donald Otieno. Donald, Seeyian and Monica gave us a powerful praise report on the move of God among the young people in NJ. Our partner from Boston Sister Esther Kiruma gave this awesome praise report; a man had received a prophetic word from Rev Grace after he got saved in February’s meetings in Lowell, that God was going to give him permanent residency through green card and his family will join him soon. The wife of the man called in march asking him to go back to Kenya  for he had won the DV  lottery 2003. He will be bringing his family to the USA in January 2003. Esther also gave a testimony of how she received a miraculous healing from an accident that had left her unable to walk after the doctors had lost hope. We watched the night for three days with a mighty presence of God. Thanks Pastor David Malone, Sister Dorcas Karanja and your team for your sacrifice.

November 22^nd-23^rd launching of Amazing Grace Ministries in Atlanta, Georgia.

We had a powerful prophetic Friday and many decided to become winners for Jesus by doing the will of the Father. The Launching of the ministry was awesome with a diversity of partners i.e. Americans Tanzanians Nigerians Ugandans and Kenyans. Amazing Grace worship team looked beautiful with their new uniform. Sister Locksana Karanja invited them to lead worship at the Kenya Christian fellowship KCFA on Saturday November 30^th 2002 at Towne View Baptist Church in Kennesaw GA. Bro. Lucas Kimani Vice president KCFA will be the Guest speaker.

Mrs. Ann Chege the lady with a Golden Heart as she was described the Kenya Barclays Bank Chairman in Kenya has coming to USA in the month of November for one month. She is looking for funds for her home Stars of Jesus Orphans and Street Chiildren home. Currently she is housing 62 girls. Feeding and Educating them. They have no other home. She is the mother and father to the children. She does not have sponsors nor constant donors. Due to the current situation in Kenya she is in a BIG financial problem. SHE NEEDS YOUR HELP TO KEEP THE HOME GOING.

Listen to this: Last month Kenya police collected a six-year-old baby boy from the streets. The woke her up and after opening the donor at about 6.00 p.m. the police told her: "MAMA CHUKUA MTOTO WAKO" and they left. Little did they care that the home is for girls not for boys. The boy is currently in that home. You can sponsor a child or give your donation one off.

SHE WILL BE IN LONDON AS FROM 16TH OCTOBER TO 20TH NOVEMBER AND THEN PROCEED TO USA AS FROM 20TH NOVEMBER FOR A MONTH.

Thompson Island is a beautiful privately owned 157-acre Island campus located in Boston Harbor just one mile offshore from South Boston. It is part of the Boston Harbor National Parks. The Island guarantees uplift and inspiration to anyone who goes there. The Island is completely apart from the rest of the world thus providing total relaxation. Who said you can only go for vacation in Hawaii. Small Hawaii is just next to your backyard. Access to the Island is provided by Thompson Island’s fleet of passenger boats anchored by the newly commissioned Motor Vessel “Outward Bound” – a 65 feet, 149 passenger ferry and cruise boat. One way travel time from the landslide dock, adjacent to Black Falcon Terminal, is 25 minutes.

A Kenyan died in USA on 14th April 2002 and remained unnoticed for quite some time. Martin Maingi, a Kenyan immigrant who chose to make his home in a wooded area near the Salem-Peabody line until two violent assaults forced him to uproot his life last year, was killed last month by an MBTA train in Everett.  His death went all but unnoticed outside of the small community of Kenyan immigrants with whom Maingi had lost contact last summer.  That's why on Wednesday, Salem police and Essex County prosecutors had no idea what had happened to Maingi, 45, who was scheduled to testify against his alleged assailant in the second incident. Dear Friends & Partners,

Greetings in the precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ to you our faithful friends and partners. The Lord God Almighty has been doing great things and it is a privilege to serve His Majesty, King Jesus.

 

Thank you for your prayers and those that have financially supported the missions that have just taken place. We still continue to experience great out pouring of Gods power as He increases the anointing to serve Him. Great testimonies are still coming forth and we give God all the glory for giving us an awesome name of Jesus that is above all names and is a miracle and a wonder. He has continued to save, deliver, heal and pour His love on his precious ones. Great doors have also continued to open for us to minister to the nations.

 

Our Partners and Pastors of The Fathersway Church Rev. Bob and Marsha Grant are now in Kenya. They will be ministering in three morning Sunday services at Deliverance Church Eastleigh on June 30^th. Please let’s all lift them up in prayer as they minister in a one-week conference at Deliverance Church Gachie from July 1st to July 7^th. We called our ministry coordinator in Nairobi and the Partners in Kenya have planned to attend the Gachie Conference and stand with the Grants as Jesus is being lifted high. They will keep us updated so that we can praise the Lord everyday. Call for details

 

 

Partners are still giving towards the opening of Amazing Grace orphanage in Nairobi Kenya. Our Ministry coordinator in Nairobi has found a building ready to be used as home for the orphans and is in negotiations with the owner. Pray for God’s favor and provision. The Lord is intending to start the home in January 2003. Many partners in Kenya have signed up ready to give their services to Jesus in the orphanage as soon as the home begins. We encourage you to sow towards this glorious cause.

May 30^th to June 3^rd Amazing Grace Crusade at Eastham London. Our God displayed His power in all the meetings. Amazing Grace Worship team with their beautiful uniforms and adorned with heavenly beauty brought us with ease to His Majesty’s Holy Chambers and it was hard to stop the meetings. The presence of God affected people that were far away that a Muslim from the pub stormed into the meeting and knelt at the front demanding to be given Jesus. On Saturday the power of God stopped the preaching brought all the pastors to our knees, submitting in total surrender, it was another reconciliation service. Our next crusades in London will be on August 9th-11^th  and 16^th-18^th.

 

Rev. Grace graduated from Life Christian University Northern VA Campus. The Lord is speaking to us to start a School of Ministry and a 24 prayer center, soon in Virginia.. Once we finalize with the venue for an extension campus you will be informed. Quite a number of people have shown interest and would like to register for classes.

 

God moved in a powerful way as he delivered his children on June 15^th  in know your destiny hosted by In His Image Ministries at Union Hall in Front Royal.

 

We have started receiving guests from Kenya and we were blessed by Pastor Jimmy Kimani of DC Kasarani at Bethlehem Christian Fellowship and Kenya Christian Fellowship, Baltimore chapter. Pastor Kimani will be one of our speakers at the KCFA national Conference, which will be at Harrisonburg, VA at James Madison University from July 4^th to 7^th  For registration call Erastus Njenga, KCFA Treasurer.

 We were blessed to have Evangelist Lucy Muiru minister at our Partners Revival meeting in Richmond and we had seven souls come to the Lord It was purely a Holy Ghost led service. We had her minister at Powerhouse Church and the KCFA DC chapter. God spoke prophetically through His servant and Amazing Grace Melodies was formed to be travelling with Rev Grace in our crusades in United States. Their son Andrew Young Muiru that has been training the Maximum Melodies. The praise team that ministers in their miracle crusades in Kenya will be coming for one week to train our praise melodies and they will be ministering with Pastor Pius Muiru when He comes to the Richmond and Baltimore 24^th to 28^th July. We are believing God in raising more Amazing Grace Melodies especially in Boston area, the parents are more than willing to release their youth so that they can win America for Jesus. Mrs Ann Chege - the lady with a Golden Heart is coming to USA in Mid-November. She is the lady who took the Street Girls and Orphans and housed them. She has a ministry called Stars of Jesus Girls Rehabilitation Centre in Kenya. Currently she looking after 62 orphaned girls and one boy. Feeding, clothing and educating them without a regular donor. It is a burden. The one boy in her home is 18 months boy who was collected from the streets by policemen and they took the boy to her and told her: "Mama huyu mtoto wako" - and they left little did they care to know that the home is for girls not boys.
