Positive confession

Mrs Kilimo - Kenya's minister in the office of the president who was injured during the plane crash in Kenya: "I heard people screaming from every direction. I was in front of Dr Wanjiru Kihoro. My seat came off and flew over hers. Then I was flung onto the aisle and there were seats all over me. I was the last person to communicate with Labour Minister Ahmed Khalif. I'm a Christian and at that moment I called on the name of Jesus. At that moment I remembered the biblical scripture that says 'Call upon me in the day of trouble and I will save you'. I called on the name of the Lord and I believe that is why our plane did not catch fire.

"The Minister (Khalif) kept saying that we were dying and when I asked him not to make a negative confession, he went silent. I thought he had heard my pleas but then I realise that that must have been the moment he went. I was pulled from where I was stuck by members of the public.

"I thank God and we are grateful to members of the public who helped us. I would like to ask Kenyans not to worry about what is happening. We are on the verge of something good and that's why the devil is kicking from every side. We'll get strength from God and carry on."
