Dropping in London with fire
They came in large numbers thirsty for the word. Many people attended Evangelist Wairimu's crusade in London last weekend in London. The two day crusade was well attended by people from all walks of life who were thirsty for the word. The crusade was characterised by congregation ready to dance while praising God. It was a Ghanian lady who opened the field on Sunday evening the 4th October, 2003 at Emmanuel Centre, Central London. The lady moved from the back in a slow motion as the congregation took time to join but when they joined whole house went wild with dance. There were lots of testimonies from last time crusade. A Zimbabwean lady had a story to tell about her testimonies of how God has done for her since Evangelist Wairimu prayed for her. "Last time I was here I had a lot of problems because I had been conned a lot of money. Evangelist Wairimu prayed for me and she assured me that I will recover all the money. Surely after going home those businessmen who had conned phoned to go and collect my money." the lady explained. Evangelist Wairimu remanded her partners to be faithful and obedience so that when she is praying for them God with remember them.

Swahili Service celebrates 4th anniversary
Swahili Service celebrated their 4th Anniversary on Sunday 17th August, 2003 at Calvary Charismatic Baptist Church, London. The ceremony which was crowned with a cake was well attended by Swahili speakers from different walks of life. The Senior Pastor of the church Rev. Francis Sarpong narrated the success of the Swahili Service to the East Africans. The preacher of the day was Pastor Peter Muigai from Kenya. The preacher who was preaching with a sense of humour preached about Esther in the Bible - A woman with a character. The theme of his message was "MUNGU IKO" - GOD LIVETH. He reminded the congregation that during times of trouble God is there to see us through. He made everyone catch with him as preaching with such a good Swahili accent as he tried to narrate in Swahili: "Zamani za utoto wangu siku zile sikukuwa na miguu - si miguu - nilikuwa na miguu - nataka kusema viatu - Mungu amenisaidia na sasa niko na viatu", the preacher explained as the congregation joined in laughter. Pastor Peter Muigai is currently living in Harlow, Essex. His contact is pkaremeri@yahoo.com
