Professor Peter Kinina and Mrs. Sandra Kinina wedding in Birmingham on Saturday 6th September, 2003
Professor Peter Kinina wedded Mrs. Sandra Kinina at Bournville Parish Church, St. Francis of Assisi, Birmingham followed by the Holy Baptism of their daughter Elizabeth Nyambura Kinina. The colourful wedding which started at 3.00 p.m. took place in a beautiful church next to Lord Cadbury home adjacent to Cadbury factory in Birmingham. An executive reception followed thereafter 25 kilometres outside Birmingham in a five star hotel Hanover International Hotel and Club, Bromsgrove. The professor surprised the guests by booking rooms and breakfast them at the hotel. The hotel has a distinctive Mediterranean architecture and interiors comfort and peaceful location. Notably in the church was an expensive and unique eagle shaped pulpit. Professor Kinina is from Nakuru, Kenya while the bride is from Jamaica.
