A colourful wedding took place on Saturday 10th August, 2002 at Trinity United Reformed Church, 106 Windsor Road, Slough, Berks in UK between former Miss Ruth Muigai and Mr. Sam Kimemia both from Kenya. A well arranged and attended wedding was one of the few Kenyans wedding to keep time in the church service. The wedding was officiated by newly ordinaned  Oxford Pastor Francis Maina while Pastor Peter Kamau of Emmanuel Celebration Centre, Slough delivered the word of the day. Like a good father, Rev. John Gichiri of Victory Revival Christian Centre, sat comfortably in church to see his coming up pastors performing it step by step. After the church ceremony the joined the newly married couples at the reception at Maymill Youth Community Centre, 112 Burnham Lane, (opposite railway station) Burnham at  3.00 p.m.
