The 25th Silver Wedding Anniversary of Eli Njuguna Kuria in Nakuru, Kenya on Saturday 9th June, 2007
While the Seeds were in Kenya in June 2007, they were invited for a 25th Silver Wedding Anniversary by Mr. and Mrs. Eli Njuguna Kuria at their beautiful home in Rongai, Nakuru, Kenya. Mr. and Mrs. Kuria who are businessmen in Nakuru town belongs to the Akorino sector. A beautiful wedding which was characterised by white clothing and head turbines. "I have never seen such a white gathering before", our driver commented. Mr. Kuria's home stands on an one acre land where he has planted all types of fruits, and medical plants. He has built a "thingira" for the old and another for the young. Porridge was served with calabashes to the excitement of the guests. Nyama choma and soup (thufu wa miti) was in plenty.
