Daniel Wachira and Mercy King'aru (daughter of Pastor Gichiri)

A record breaking attendance wedding took place on Saturday 29th May, 2004 in London between Mercy Waithira King'aru and Mr. Daniel Wachira. The colourful ceremony took place at St. Paul's Church, Bath Road, Hounslow West and there it was followed thereafter by a reception at Ealing Town Hall , New Broadway, Ealing, London. The ceremony was well attended at the church but the climax was at the reception where many guests did not manage to get a sit at the reception as the house was full. Food also run shot and many guests went home without eating. Bishop Mark Kariuki of Deliverance Church in Nakuru, Kenya was among the guests who attended. A number of of church ministers attended from different parts of the UK and notably among the church ministers was Rev. Ruth Mungai from Kenya. Gospel Musician Esther Wahome also attended where she gave a number. A well prepared dance was performed  by the bridal party.
