Mr. Shaw Ngugi and Sarah Mary Wambui
Wedding in London on Sat. 5th June, 2004
A colourful wedding took place on Saturday 5th June, 2004 between Shaw Ngugi and Sarah Mary Wambui at St. George's and St. Ethelbert Church, East Ham. A well attended wedding which was done in Kenya Anglican Church style was conducted by Ven. Kahara in conjunction with Rev. Kamuyu both of Anglican Church in the UK. Rev. Samuel Kamuri Muya of Talents Revival Centres, Elburgon, Kenya delivered the word of the day. Parents from Kenya attended the wedding. The reception followed thereafter at the beautiful place at Walthamstow Assembly Hall adjacent to Walthamstow College. Notably at the wedding was the Hummer limousine which caught many guests by surprise. At one instance after the church the limo was unable to negotiate a corner and it took 15 minutes to negotiate the corner. The limo is the first of its kind in a Kenyan wedding is capable of capacitating more than 20 people.
