A colourful wedding took place at the Methodist Church in Oxford betwen Mr. Joseph Njuguna Chege and Miss Sophie Waweru in Oxford, UK on Saturday 31st July, 2004. The wedding was well attended both in church and at the reception. The ceremony was conducted by Rev. John Gichiri the overseer of Victory Revival Christian Centres, in the UK and the sermon was delivered the bridegroom's pastor Francis Irungu Maina of Oxford. Mr. Njuguna the bridegroom was in high spirit as he tied the knot and he kept on asking the officiating pastor "should I take my time pastor?". The centre of attraction both in the church and at the reception was Abundant Prophetic Dancers from Bishop Odima's church. A well attended reception followed thereafter at Park Sports Centre, Holton.
