Kenya's mother Teresa is in London

Mrs. Chege is in London. The lady with a golden heart as she was described Kenya Barclays Bank arrived in London on Sunday 27th July, 2003. She will be in UK for one week before flying to the United States of American and then back to UK for three weeks before going back to Kenya. Her main mission abroad is to solicit funds to feed the children, educate them and to build their new site. Due to the economic difficulties in Kenya and after buying the land for the children with all what she had in the bank the situation has deteriorated in that home. As she left for UK there was no food for the children. She is now appealing to Kenyans and well wishers in the UK to donate urgently to facilitate purchase of food this week before flying to the USA. Rev. David Kamau Githiiyi (left) and his wife Mrs. Hannah Wanjiru Kamau are in London. Rev. Githiiyi who is a manager with A.I.C. Maai Mahiu Children's Home, near Longonot Satellite. After helping the children in this home, Rev. Githiiyi has a vision of training these children before releasing them to be independent so that they can be useful people in the society. To do this he has a vision of building a Technical Training Institute. The institute will be catering for the children and the surrounding areas. He has a plot to build but not funds.
