It is with sadness and humble acceptance of God's will that we announce the promotion to glory of our beloved mother Mrs.Marion Wambui Kuria on 30th December 2013 in Kenya. She was the wife of the late Eliud Kuria Gakuo. Mother to Rev. Gakuo of Deliverance  Church, Kenya, Pastor Ben Kuria of Life Chapel Ilford, UK, Helen Nyambura of Kirinyaga, Kenya, Keziah Murugi, Eldoret, Gabriel Waiganjo, Kenya and Cyrus Kiiru, USA. Grandmother to Pastor Jacob Mwathi, UK, Jonathan Kuria and Gitau Gakuo, both of Oxford, UK. The funeral will take place on 14th January, 2014 at her home in Wanjerere, Muranga, Kenya.

WORD OF APPRCIATION

The late Joseph Muthubi Kangere

 

The family of pastor George Kangere would like to express their gratitude to all those who supported the family with prayers and financial assistance following the passing on of their elder brother Joseph Muthubi Kangere in Kenya. Joseph Kangere studied in Scotland at Herriot Watt university in the early 1970s and lived in Scotland before returning to Kenya. He passed away on Tuesday 26th November 2013 at 4.00 am immediately after praying with Pastor George on  the phone. He was buried on Tuesday 2nd December at their farm in Lioki, Kiambu Kenya.


Special thanks to Bishop Joseph Warui of House of Divine Solution International Ministry and his wife Rev Catherine Warui,  Rev Paul Nganga, Elder Jerry, all HODSIM pastors and members and all friends that turned out on Sunday 1st December, 2013 for the thanks giving ceremony. Grace was pre-deceased by her loving husband Hiram Kiragu Muthaka. She was mother to the late Jane Wambui, Robinson Muthaka Kiragu (London), the late James Kioi Kiragu, Peter Kariuki Kiragu, Samuel Kihiu Kiragu, The late Jacqueline Njeri, Peter Njenga Kiragu, and Ruth Wangari Kamau. She was the grandmother to Chris Kiragu Muthaka of Revival House (London) and Pastor Gad Muthaka of Revival House (London). She had many other grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

It’s with a heavy heart that we announce the tragic and sudden death of our daughter, sister and cousin Ruth Nyambura Kagua on Thursday 5th September 2013. She was daughter of Mr Sammy Kagua and Mrs Jane Wangechi Kagua. Ruth Nyambura Kagua was born in Kenya on 14th February, 1985. She lived in South B, Nairobi before she relocated abroad. She was  28 years old. Sister to Anthony Njenga, Leah Wanjiru, Erick Muriithi and Joyce Waringa. Brother in law Vinnie Kaba and Evans Kamau. Sister in law Christine and Margaret all in US. Her aunties and uncles in the UK and America were Ann Wambui – Stratford, Catherine Wanjiku – Manor House, Jane Kabochi – Kingston, Uncle Githinji – Northampton, Uncle Koki – Kingston, Mjomba – Upton Park, Claudius Brown – Upton Park, Kasongo – Coventry, Kabura – Tolworth, Susan Njenga-Minnesota. Her grandmother is Joyce Waringa Michira of Bahati, Nairobi. Aunties and uncles in Kenya are Carol Mureithi (UNEP), Lucy (Mama Kanyi) Njoka, Anne Mumbi, William Kiarie, Benard Tari, Antony Gicheru (Okech), Patrick Gachanja(papa), Stephen Mathenge (Mathes), Maina (Ruai). her cousin Helen Kiarie (Switzerland). It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Charles Muriungi Nyaga who passed away suddenly on the 3rd June 2013 at Wexham Park Hospital in Slough. He was a loving husband to Grace Akinyi Muriungi and loving father to Lawrence and Lorna Muriungi. He was a dear son of Mr Johnstone Ndwiga Nyaga and Jeniffer Kainda Nyaga and brother to Timoty Mureithi and Rose Njeri of Thika. He was son-in-law to Mrs Dorothy Tabitha Ekesa of Kitale and the late Ajeliti Ekesa. He was a brother-in-law to Oscar (Mumias), Emily (USA), Josephine, Edward and Ben of Kitale.

 

Charles valued his family and friends and he is survived by many uncles,aunties and cousins amongst others, Lydia (Hackney), George (Surbiton), Lucy and Kim (Surbiton), Mjomba, Margery (Mwari wa Nyaga), Murani (Watford) and Jose (Wakapa) of East London.

 

Our loving Charles is now resting peacefully at the Slough Cemetery.

We regret to announce the death of Michael Weru Gichuki, our brother and friend, who died on 9th April 2013 following a tragic road accident on the night of Saturday 30th March 2013 in Brixton, South London. He was taken to King’s College Hospital, Camberwell,  South London where he never regained his consciousness for 9 days  and he passed away  on Tuesday 9th April, 2013.

Weru hails from Nyahururu, Kenya and is the son of Joseph Gichuki and Esther Njoki Gichuki. He is father to Njoki Weru, brother to Jane Wanjiru, Thomas Mwangi Gichuki, Anthony Wariari Gichuki, Mercy Nyawira Gichuki, Eva Wanjiru Gichuki, Martin Mugwe Gichuki and John Nderitu Gichuki.

We are appealing to all Kenyans and friends of Weru to help us raise funds to repatriate his body back home to his parents.

It is with great humble acceptance we announce the promotion to glory of our beloved mother, Mrs. Miriam Wanjiku (Wangechi) Kagika of Mairo Inya, Ritaya Farm, Nyahururu, in Nyandarua County, Kenya, who passed away, peacefully,  on Wednesday 27th, February, 2013 at her home. She was wife to the late Solomon Kagika Kamanu. She was the second born daughter of the late Mr.  & Mrs. Kinyara Nguyo. She was sister to the late Nguyo Kinyara, late Chege Kinyara, late Janet Nyambura Gichimu, late Margaret Gitimu, late Dorcas Kanyoko and late Kuria Kinyara, among the others. She was mother to the late Hannah Njeri Kagika, Shifira Nyambura Kangu of Machakos, Duncan K. Kamanu Kagika of London, UK, late Milcah Njoki Ngugi, Lawrence Simon Kimani Kagika of Ex-Retief Farm, Nyandarua, Isaac Gachoka Kagika of Nyahururu, Newton  S. Nguyo  Kagika of Tyler, Texas, USA, Phyllis Muiruri Kagika of Mathare Hospital Nairobi and Josiah Muchangi Kagika of GPS Media, Nairobi.

She was step-mother to the late John Micheal Kamanu Kagika, Hannah Njeri Gatimi of Kariobangi, Nairobi and Monicah Muthoni Kagika of  UK.  She was mother-in-law to Isabella Karungari Kamanu of Kinamba, Ngarua, William Kangu Muthoka of Machakos, late Mrs. Margaret Waceke Kamanu, Mrs. Esther N. Kamanu of London, UK, late George Ngugi Nganga, Mrs. Eunice Nyambura Kimani of Ex-Retief  Farm, Nyandarua County, Mrs. Hannah Njeri Gachoka of Nyahururu, Laikipia County, Mrs. Margaret Nyambura Nguyo of  Tyler. Texas, USA and Mrs. Margaret Wambui Muchangi of France.
