THE LATE MARY NDUTA NJAAGA

 

It is with humble acceptance that we announce the death of our beloved Mum Mary Nduta Njaaga after a short illness . The late Mary Nduta Naaga was the wife of the late David

Njaaga Njuguna. Mum to George Njuguna, Jane Wanjiku from Northolt, UK, Nelly Wambui, late Kenneth Githinji, Ann Nyawiraof Peckham, London and Monicah Njeri of Paris. She was Mother-in-law to Nicholas Kamande of Pckham, London and Michael Strummeyer of Paris. She was Auntie to Esther Kahiga late Mary Ann Wanjiru both of Blackpool, UK. Grandmother to Mary Nduta OF Northolt, UK, Esther Wangui of London, Emmy and Ethan of Paris, Great Grandmother to Sade and Kemi. She was Grand Mother and Great Grandmother to many more-all of them of Kenya.

The funeral will be on Friday 19/05/17 at her home in Kikuyu (Musa Gitau ) in Gikambura, Kikuyu.

Friends and  Family are meeting every evening from 6pm-8pm for prayers at 16 Danube Court, Daniels Gardens, Peckham, London, SE15 6LP. Your presence, support and prayers will be appreciated.

It is with deep sadness we announce the passing on of Winnie Wanjiku Mbugua. Winnie passed away on Wednesday the 10th of May 2017 after a short illness. She was the daughter to, Kamau Kinyahwe and the late Teresia Wanjuhi. Mother to; Cindy Wanjuhi, Joy Wambui, Tracy Wanjuhi, and Cathy Njeri Sister to, Nancy Nduta, Ben Kinyahwe (Biggie), Jane Wangui (Wakamau), Sarah Wairimu, Eunice Wangari (Wathuo) of London, The late Annie Njeri, and Alice Muthoni Gichangi (Mso) of London. She is also the cousin to Pastor Joseph Karanja (Grays).

Family and friends are meeting every day from Thursday 11th May 2017 to 13th May 2017 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm and on Sunday the 14th of May 2017 6:00pm to 8:00pm, at 63 Burrow Road Chigwell Essex, IG7 4NL.

Beloved wife of Charles Mbui Kamau of Mathare-ini, Kigumo, Muranga and beloved mother to Lily Mwihaki of Nottingham. She was a beloved daughter of Francis Mburu Gachau and Mrs Felista Wairimu Mburu of Muruka Village, Muruka Sub Location Kandara. Muranga, Kenya. Sister to Leah Wanjiru, Simon Ndungu Emmah Njeri, John Guchu, Mercy Wangoru and Henry Gitau. Sister in law to Bernadette Wangari Kuria of Nottingham. The late Margaret Wanjiru, Andrew Kinanya and Peter Macharia. The Funeral will take place in Matharei-ini, Kigumo, Kenya. Date and arrangements to be announced later.

We are sad to announce the death of Mr Peter Irungu Wanjohi (3rd from left escording Ruth on her wedding) father to Pastor Ruth Mwirigi and Pastor Joel Mwirigi of Slough, UK (centre), who died together with his son, Evans Nduati (Pastor's younger brother far right) in a tragic car accident near Kenol, Murang'a County on 25/April 2017). He is seen here during Pastor's weddig in 1998 at Ealing in West London. Prayers commence today at Pastor's house, 70 Long Readings Lane, Slough, SL2 1PZ.

Following the death of Pastor Ruth and Joel Mwirigi's dad and brother on 25/4/2017, there is going to be a memorial service on Sunday 30/4/2017 in Slough, UK.

She has left behind two children who lost their dad too through a tragic accident two years ago.

It is with humble acceptance of God's will that we announce the passing on to glory of Mr. Phillip Njoroge Mutonga, father to Jane Kibathi also known as Mama Melissa of South London. The late Mr Mutonga went to be with the Lord on Thursday 16th March 2017.

It is with our deepest sorrow that we  inform you that sadly Beth Kungu and PK (Thatched House) lost their sister Hannah Wambui on Thursday 9th March in Kenya after a long illness. Prayer Meetings and funeral arrangements is taking place at Beth's House Flat 2, Reynolds house, Ayley Croft, EN1 1XR from 6pm to 9 then a second meeting will be held on Saturday at Revival House 500 High Street North E12 6QN from 6 to 9pm and the memorial service will be held on Sunday 12th at Revival House from 5pm to 8pm.

A Kenyan man has passed away in North Ireland, UK. The late Jessie Mwangi Chege who is a former London resident passed away on Friday 27th January, 2017 and is only a few days the discovered because he has no relatives in remote town near Belfast, North Ireland. The late Mwangi Chege who moved to North Ireland over 10 years ago passed away at Antrim Area, Hospital, in North Ireland.

 

He has no relatives in the UK and the family want the Kenya community to help repatriate the body to his family back in Kenya. The late Chege, husband to Mrs. Nancy Wahito Mwaniki of Subukia Centre, Nakuru and father to Naomi Njoki Mwangi and Daniel Chege Mwangi.Cousin to Bishop David Karaya and Ruth Karaya of Boston, USA.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing on of Lucy Waceke Ndungu; Wife of Peter Wananu Ndungu of Mombasa Kenya. She was the mother of Mary Wananu Moore (London UK), Florence Ndungu Gichuhi (USA), Irene Wangari Karanja, (Nairobi Kenya) Thomas Kungu Ndungu (Mombasa Kenya), Margaret Nyambura Wananu (Nairobi Kenya) and Alfred Mungai Ndungu (USA).  She was the sister to Ann Gathogo (Manchester UK), Margaret Lane (London UK), Lydia Gathogo (London UK), Elizabeth Kangethe, Jane Gathogo, James Kamau, Joseph Kamande, Bernard Ngugi, and Peter Mbugua (Kenya).

 

The late Lucy Waceke Ndungu was diagnosed with a brain tumor (glioblastoma multiforme) in November 2016. She underwent treatment but her general condition deteriorated. Lucy took her last breath and died peacefully on 24th December 2016 at 9am surrounded by her family members. The medical bill outstanding is 4.3 Million Kenya Shillings (£34,351), we the family are appealing to friends to join hands with us to clear the medical bill. Maureen was the daughter of Mr. Paul Omondi Mbago and Mrs. Janet Atieno Omondi of Nairobi, Kenya. She was sister of Elizabeth Omondi (New York), cousin of Jesse (Ontario), Samuel (Nairobi), Katherine (Dar-es-Salaam) and Charles (Oxford) among others, and a great friend to so many more.

THE LATE STEVE KIMEMIA NJIRU

 

The body of the late Steve Kimemia Njiru will leave London for Kenya on Friday 16th December, 2016 and the burial takes place on Wednesday 21st December, 2016 in his home county of Kirinyaga. A Kenyan lawyer has passed away in UK. The late Dr. Steve Kimemia Njiru passed away at Hillingdon Hospital in West London on Friday 9th December, 2016. His family have been very supportive to him and they have been on his bedside since he became unwell. Steve Kimemia is the son of the former MP for Kirinyaga East the late Hon. Njiru. Dr. Stephen Njiru is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya with over 20 years international experience as a lawyer, and in private practice, with government (Public sector) and in Academia.  He has undertaken all aspects of Legal Practice including Criminal, Civil and Commercial Litigation. His main fields have been Constitutional and Public Law, International Economic Law, Legal Systems and Services, Municipal and International Law. Dr. Njiru who is the Chairman of the Legal and Regulatory Committee of the GDC Board of Directors, is also a member of the Finance Committee of the Board. He has advised governments (including the Government of Kenya as a State Counsel and also as a Special Consul and Legal Adviser to the Government), public bodies, International Corporations and other firms.

 

He has also been a lecturer of Law, having taught at the University of Manchester. Njiru is also widely experienced in the areas of Public / Constitutional Law, Legal Systems and Methods, Law of Contract, Torts, Criminal Law, International Economic Law and Human Rights. He has Worked and conducted research on the Bretton Woods Institution including the World Bank, International Monetary Fund, World Trade Organization and World Intellectual Property Organization. He was the Head of the Technical team on the Constitution of Kenya which oversaw the Constitution Review Process leading to the promulgation of the New Constitution in Kenya. He was appointed to the GDC Board as an Independent Director on the 10th day of February 2012. We are in deep sadness to announce the passing on to Glory of Mrs Florence Muthoni Mwenje. Formally Florence Kiragu. Of portsmouth UK .wife of Samuel Mwenje Wamai mum to Annmarie Mwenje and baby Jayden Mwenje daughter of Mr and Mrs Moses Kiragu of Ngandu Village,Karatina, Nyeri, Kenya. Florence worked at Nairobi and Gertrude's hospitals before she moved to United Kingdom in 2003.

She worked with NHS -QA Hospital Portsmouth and NHS Solent Portsmouth until 2016. Daughter in law to Mr & Mrs Joseph Wamae Mwenje of Nyeri. Sister to Sammy ,Tony and Carol among others. Sister in law to Emma and Jane Wamai among others. Cousin to Mumbi of Oxford UK.Among others.

 

Family and friends are meeting at their residence in Portsmouth UKevery day from 5:00- 9:00.pm at 98 Gladys Avenue, Northend. PO2 9BH. For Prayers. In oxford Family and friends are meeting at 69 Preacher Lane. OX1 1RT from 6:00-8:00 pm. The Body of our sister Florence will be repatriated to Kenya where she will be laid to rest . It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing on of Jane Mugure Gitahi, mother to Mrs Lucy Githinji, (PCEA Church, London). Mother in law to Francis Githinji (PCEA Church, London) and grandmother to Evalyne and Sylvia Githinji. She is sister to Catherine Wambui Gitahi (Mama Gitahi) among others and aunt to Beatrice, Gitahi and Jackline of London.

Family and friends are meeting for prayers at Githinji's residence, 51 Rose Lane, Romford RM6 5JT from Tuesday 03/01/17 to Friday 06/01/17 time 7pm - 9pm.

Lucy Waceke Ndungu
Born in 1948 and went to be with the Lord on 24th December 2016

 


It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing on of Lucy Waceke Ndungu; Wife of Peter Wananu Ndungu of Mombasa Kenya. She was the mother of Mary Wananu Moore (London UK), Florence Ndungu Gichuhi (USA), Irene Wangari Karanja, (Nairobi Kenya) Thomas Kungu Ndungu (Mombasa Kenya), Margaret Nyambura Wananu (Nairobi Kenya) and Alfred Mungai Ndungu (USA).  She was the sister to Ann Gathogo (Manchester UK), Margaret Lane (London UK), Lydia Gathogo (London UK), Elizabeth Kangethe, Jane Gathogo, James Kamau, Joseph Kamande, Bernard Ngugi, and Peter Mbugua (Kenya).

 

The late Lucy Waceke Ndungu was diagnosed with a brain tumor (glioblastoma multiforme) in November 2016. She underwent treatment but her general condition deteriorated. Lucy took her last breath and died peacefully on 24th December 2016 at 9am surrounded by her family members. The medical bill outstanding is 4.3 Million Kenya Shillings (£34,351), we the family are appealing to friends to join hands with us to clear the medical bill. We are grieved to announce the passing on to glory of Elizabeth Kanyi Muigai of Githunguri kamwanya village. Wife of the late Muigai Mwaura . Mother to Mary Wangari (Wabuiya), Margaret Wambui ( Wagaturi), John Mwaura ( Mwajom) of Gikomba market, Jane Mumbi Ndiba of UK, Jane Mwihaki Njuguna , Bernard Kamau, Grace Njeri and Henry Chege of Ireland. Mother-in-law to Grace Muthoni Mwaura, John Ndiba (Okello) UK, The late Peter Njuguna, Lucy Ngina and Frida Chege from Ireland. Grandmother to Beth Nyambura of U.S.A., Sarah Muthoni, Peter Muigai, Edwin Muigai,Elizabeth Njeri and many more. She was a great grandmother to many. Prior to her passing on she was admitted in Agha Kan hospital where she left behind a bill of Ksh 5 million. We regret to announce the passing of our beloved daughter, sister and friend, Maureen Omondi Rowland. Maureen passed away on Saturday 10th December 2016 at Southmead Hospital in Bristol after a long illness.

Maureen was the daughter of Mr. Paul Omondi Mbago and Mrs. Janet Atieno Omondi of Nairobi, Kenya. She was sister of Elizabeth Omondi (New York), cousin of Jesse (Ontario), Samuel (Nairobi), Katherine (Dar-es-Salaam) and Charles (Oxford) among others, and a great friend to so many more.

Friends and family will hold a memorial service in Stoke Bishop, Bristol:

THE LATE STEVE KIMEMIA NJIRU

 

The body of the late Steve Kimemia Njiru will leave London for Kenya on Friday 16th December, 2016 and the burial takes place on Wednesday 21st December, 2016 in his home county of Kirinyaga. A Kenyan lawyer has passed away in UK. The late Dr. Steve Kimemia Njiru passed away at Hillingdon Hospital in West London on Friday 9th December, 2016. His family have been very supportive to him and they have been on his bedside since he became unwell. Steve Kimemia is the son of the former MP for Kirinyaga East the late Hon. Njiru. Dr. Stephen Njiru is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya with over 20 years international experience as a lawyer, and in private practice, with government (Public sector) and in Academia.  He has undertaken all aspects of Legal Practice including Criminal, Civil and Commercial Litigation. His main fields have been Constitutional and Public Law, International Economic Law, Legal Systems and Services, Municipal and International Law. Dr. Njiru who is the Chairman of the Legal and Regulatory Committee of the GDC Board of Directors, is also a member of the Finance Committee of the Board. He has advised governments (including the Government of Kenya as a State Counsel and also as a Special Consul and Legal Adviser to the Government), public bodies, International Corporations and other firms.

 

He has also been a lecturer of Law, having taught at the University of Manchester. Njiru is also widely experienced in the areas of Public / Constitutional Law, Legal Systems and Methods, Law of Contract, Torts, Criminal Law, International Economic Law and Human Rights. He has Worked and conducted research on the Bretton Woods Institution including the World Bank, International Monetary Fund, World Trade Organization and World Intellectual Property Organization. He was the Head of the Technical team on the Constitution of Kenya which oversaw the Constitution Review Process leading to the promulgation of the New Constitution in Kenya. He was appointed to the GDC Board as an Independent Director on the 10th day of February 2012.
