THE LATE SAMUEL GITHIABII

We are sad to announce the death of Mr. Samuel Githiabii of Lawrence, Massachusetts, United States - He passed away March 10, 2008

He was the son of Mr. Ephraim Gitonga and Mrs. Mary Wangui of Thika, Kenya. He leaves behind his four-year old son Joseph Ndungu (JoJo), Jojo's Mother Rhiannon Mazza, Jojo's Grandmother Deborah Mazza, from Dover, New Hamphire, United States. He was the brother to Cecilia Jemimah Njeri, Francis Gitonga, sister-in-law Hellen Kibuika and nephew Gabriel Gitonga, from Lynn, Massachusetts, United States. He was a brother to Mr. Lawrence Muthoga and Mr. John Mwangi of Thika, Kenya.

THE LATE DR. MWANGI KARANGU

 

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Dr. Mwangi Karangu on March 10th, 2008.

Prior to his demise he was a distinguished professor of economics and statistics at Morgan State University, Baltimore Maryland and at Coppin State University where he was an adjunct professor. Over his lifetime Dr Karangu made immense contribution to his Kenyan/Africa community as well as other minority groups. Dr Karangu cherished the value of education and was vocal in encouraging young minds to pursue education to the highest echelon of academia. He is credited to have been directly and indirectly involved in bringing a lot of Kenyans to the USA to further their education. Dr Karangu wore many hearts, namely: father, grandfather, teacher, mentor, counselor, elder, role model and community leader. People are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangements at: 2353 Hamiltowne Circle, Baltimore Maryland 21237.

Patricia Muchunu has sadly lost her brother, Paul Kamau Muchunu in Kenya on Tuesday, 11th March 2008 through a road accident. The late Paul was son to the late Andrew Muchunu Wairegi and Zaweriah Nyokabi Muchunu of North Kinangop.

He was husband to Mrs Jane Kanjeru Kamau and brother to Mrs Nancy Gachau of Jamii Hospital (Karatina), John Wairegi Muchunu (Total Company, Kampala), Patricia Wanjiru Muchunu (London), Mrs Jane Wachira (Mombasa), Martin Kimani (Nairobi), Veronica Mumbi (Nairobi), Samuel Kiriri (Nairobi) and Dr( Mrs) Julia Wangari Bizmungu (Tanga).  He was uncle to Maureen Nyokabi, Bernice Kariuki and Sospeter Kariuki all of London among many others.  He was also cousin to Betty Mwangi and Richard Wairegi both of Watford. Karanga was called by the Lord on Monday, March 3, 2008 at the University Hospital in Columbia, Missouri, U.S.A. He is survived by his wife, Mary and three children – Jude Keingatti (7), David Kimani (5) and Briana Nduta (3). Friends and well wishers are meeting in Columbia for funeral arrangements.

We regret to announce the death of Edward Joseph Wahinya Ngugi, 36, in London on Saturday 23rd February, 2008.  Son of the late Ngugi Gitau and Beth Wanjiru Ngugi of Thindigwa Estate, Kasarini, Kiambu District, Kenya.  Brother to Charles Gitau Ngugi, Stephen Gachuhi Ngugi, Muthoni Ngugi and Wambui Ngugi.  The late Wahinya was found dead in his room where he was staying in Forest Gate, E. London by his Landlord who had gone to collect his rent.  The Landlord then called the Police who found him lifeless in bed.  The Coroner report says that  the course of death as PANCREATISIS that is Pancreas failure. She was a wonderful grandmum to 50 grandchildren among them Naomi Gitu, Kui Ben (Mama Dexter), Naomi Justus (Mama Candy), Anne Waithira, all of London UK and Janet Nixon (Oxford). She was blessed enough to have 20 great- grandchildren among them Candy Esther, Dexter & Kezziah Ben, Rose & Helen Gitu, all of London UK, Esther Nixon (Oxford) and Eric Ng'ang'a.

 Her body will be laid to rest on Friday 18th January 2008 at her farm in Karweti Village, Githunguri Sub-location, Kiambu District. Friends and relatives are meeting daily for prayers as we celebrate the life of this remarkable woman at the Gitus' residence. The address is 52 Gaysham Hall, Longwood Gardens, Barkingside IG5 0EP. WE WISH TO APPEAL TO THE ENTIRE KENYAN COMMUNITY IN THE UNITED KINGDOM, AND FRIENDS TO FUNDRAISE FOR THE REPATRIATION OF THE REMAINS OF EVANS NYAMWAYA ONDIBA A STUDENT AT LUTON BUSINESS & COMPUTING COLLEGE SINCE 1ST OCTOBER 2007. EVANS SUDDEN DEATH ON THE MORNING OF 22ND NOVEMBER 2007 AT A TENDER AGE OF 24YEARS HAS COME AS AN UTTER SHOCK TO HIS FAMILY, THE ENTIRE KENYAN COMMUNITY, HIS CLASSMATES, COLLEAGUES AND OTHER FRIENDS WHO KNEW HIM.

 EVANS IS NEW NOT ONLY TO THE LUTON KENYAN COMMUNITY BUT A NEWCOMER TO THE UK. EVANS CAME TO THE UK TO STUDY ON THE 30TH SEPTEMBER 2007 AND UNFORTUNATELY HIS OLDER BROTHER FRED PASSED AWAY 10 DAYS AFTER HIS ARRIVAL. EVANS TRAVELLED TO KENYA TO ATTEND FRED’S FUNERAL ONLY TO RETURN THREE WEEKS AGO AND PASS AWAY IN HIS SLEEP AFTER SUFFERING A CARDIAC ARREST.

HE WAS THE 4TH BORN CHILD OF MR. ENOCK KEPHAS ONYINKWA (CBK KENYA) & MRS.  JEMIMAH ONDIBA, BROTHER TO DAMARIS, LATE FRED, MERCY AND NEHEMIAH NEPHEW TO JOYCE OENGA, COUSIN TO LYDIA OYUNGE, GEOFFREY OYUNGE, ASENATH OIRERE, MERCY OENGA & EVELYN NYAREGA – JONES ALL OF LUTON BEDFORDSHIRE AMONG OTHERS IN KENYA.

IN THE TRUE KENYAN SPIRIT OF HARAMBEE WE WOULD APPEAL TO ANYONE WHO IS TOUCHED BY THIS TRAGIC INCIDENT TO GIVE GENEROUSLY.

1959 - 2007

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of David Gichu Maina of Nyeri Provincial Hospital on Wednesday 14th November, 2007. Son of Mr. Maina Muchiri and Millicent Nyambura. Husband to Rose Muthoni. Father to Millicent Nyambura, Jotham Maina and Ciru. Brother to Daniel Kariuki of Nairobi, Nelly Mwangi (UK), Antony Muchiri (USA), George Gichimu (Nairobi), Josephine (UK), Maina (Baba Callum of Jubilee Ministries UK), Justus (UK), Jade (UK), Andrew Muriithi (Kenya). Brother-in-law to Dr. Gikungu, Mwangi, Mrs. Muchiri (Mama Jessica) USA, Kiragu and Nyambura all of Murang'a, Isaac Mwangi (UK), Wilfred (UK), Bilha Wanjiku (UK), Rosemary Gichimu and Lucy Wanja all in Kenya. Nephew to Josiah Muriithi and Wambui Matahe all in UK. Cousin to Wangari Charity, Cecidah, Jannet and Shem among others. Uncle to: Joe, Nicole, Callum, Jack, Sophie, Adon (all in the UK) and  Jessicca Nyambura of USA.

Family and friends are meeting for arrangements and prayers in East London.

The burial takes place on 24th November, 2007 in his farm in Nyeri, Kenya. There will be a memorial service at Interdenominational World Revival Ministry, Manor Park Community Centre, 524 High Street North, Manor Park, London E12 as from 5.30 p.m. on Saturday 24th November, 2007. PAMELA DIED AT PRINCESS ROYAL HOSPITAL, APLEY CASTLE IN TELFORD IN MIDLAND'S AFTER SHORT ILLNESS ON WEDNESDAY 14TH NOVEMBER, 2007.

 

THE LATE PAMELA WAS MOTHER TO FAITH JUMA AND SISTER TO   RUTH ATIENO OGEMBO OF TELFORD, JOSEPHINE AKINIYI BENNETT OF LONDON, YUNIA AKELO ODERO. GRACE JUMA, AUMA OLUOCH, JOHN ODERO,  ISAAC ODERO  AND SISTER IN LAW TO ENGINEER JUMA AND FRANCIS OLOUCH ALL OF KENYA.

 

SHE WAS AUNTY TO ISAAC, ANTONYAND, KEVIN OGEMBO, GERMAIN AND LUIGI ORORI.

 

SHE WAS ALSO COUSIN TO EVANGELIST TEE OF NORTHOLT WEST LONDON MIDDX

 

 

THE LATE PAMELA HAILED FROM WANGAYA DISTRICT EAST KANO LOCATION AND WAS DAUGHTER TO MZEE PAUL ODERO ISAACA AND MAMA HELDA BONYO ODERO.

 

PAMELA WILL BE GREATLY MISSED BY HER FAMILY AND MANY FRIEND'S.

 

A FUNDRAISING TO HELP SEND PAMELA'S BODY  TO KENYA  WILL BE HELD AT EVANGELIST TEE HOUSE AT 2 DORCHESTER ROAD NORTHOLT MIDDX.UB5 4PA ON THE 24 NOVEMBER 2007 STARTING FROM 3PM.
