A colourful wedding took place on Saturday 14th August, 2010 between Michael Wanjiru of Essex (son of Mama Wambugu of Dagenham) and Juliet Saituru of Essex, UK. The wedding ceremony took place at CCBC Swahili Church in Barking IG11 7TR and a reception followed thereafter at Eastbury Comprehensive School, Hulse Avenue, Barking IG11 9UW. It started earth in the morning in the church with the bride maids dressing for the occasion as Michael says "I do" on right

The wedding was crowned with a calabash of traditional porridge where Mrs. Nelly Wanjiru Mwangi (blue dress) was quick to serve her husband Mr. Isaac Mwangi (white jacket on right photo) and their daughter Cassandra Mwangi (third right) the miracle girl where the mother gave birth at the age of 46-years. Asked by Mr. Seed whether she is preparing for another one at 48, Nelly replied: "I will score another goal during the Olympics in London in 2012". On right are the bridal maids.
