TEN THINGS GOD
WON'T ASK on that day
1...God won't ask what kind of car you drove, He'll ask how many
people you drove who didn't have transportation.
2...God won't ask the square footage of your house, He'll ask how
many people you welcomed into your home.
3...God won't ask about the clothes you had in your closet, He'll
ask how many you helped to clothe.
4...God won't ask what your highest salary was, He'll ask if you
compromised your character to obtain it.
5...God won't ask what your job title was, He'll ask if you
performed your job to the best of our ability.
6...God won't ask how many friends you had, He'll ask how many
people to whom you were a friend.
7...God won't ask in what neighborhood you lived, He'll ask how
you treated your neighbors.
8...God won't ask about the color of your skin, He'll ask about
the content of your character.
9...God won't ask why it took you so long to seek Salvation,
He'll lovingly take you to your mansion in heaven, and not to the
gates of Hell.
10...God won't have to ask how many people you forwarded this to,
He already knows whether or not you are ashamed to share this
information with your friends.

Noah's Ark
Everything
I need to know, I learned from Noah's Ark.
ONE: Don't
miss the boat.
TWO:
Remember that we are all in the same boat.
THREE: Plan
ahead. It wasn't raining when Noah built the Ark.
FOUR: Stay
fit. When you're 60 years old, someone may ask you to do something really big.
FIVE: Don't
listen to critics; just get on with the job that needs to be done.
SIX: Build
your future on high ground.
SEVEN: For
safety's sake, travel in pairs.
EIGHT:
Speed isn't always an advantage. The snails were on board with the cheetahs.
NINE: When
you're stressed, float awhile.
TEN:
Remember, the Ark was built by amateurs; the Titanic by professionals.
ELEVEN: No
matter the storm, when you are with God, there's always a rainbow waiting.
My instructions were to
send this to people that I wanted God to bless and I picked you. Please pass
this to people you want to be blessed.
Give it! Don't
just get it.
have an awesome day!

Our God is faithful, he will surely answer this prayer.

God still sits on
the throne,
the devil is a liar.
You may be going through a
tough time right now but God
is getting ready to bless you
in a way that only He can.
Keep the faith.
My instructions were to pick
four people that I wanted God
to bless, and I picked you.
Please pass this to at least
four people you want to be
blessed and a copy back to
me. This prayer is powerful,
and prayer is one of the best
gifts we receive. There is no
cost but a lot of rewards. Let
us continue to pray for one
another.
Here is the prayer:
Father, I ask You to bless my
friends, relatives and email
buddies reading this right
now. Show them a new
revelation of Your love and
power. Holy Spirit, I ask You
to minister to their spirit at
this very moment. Where
there is pain, give them Your
peace and mercy. Where
there is self-doubt, release a
renewed confidence through
Your grace. Bless their
homes, families, finances,
their goings and their comings
In Jesus' precious name.
Amen
I know I picked more than
four, so can you.

Thank you for your contributions
Rev. Samuel Muya of Talents Revival Centres in Elburgon, Kenya came to the UK in March, 2003 to solicit for funds to build a church for his congregation back in Kenya after facing eviction by the landlord. After a successful fundraising in the UK in April 2003 he bought the land and started the church building. The funds were exhausted before roofing the church. He came back to the UK to fundraise for more funds from Kenyans living in in the UK. In July last year he held another successful fundraising in London to help him to roof the church. He has now roofed the church which has turned out to be a big attraction. It is the biggest church in the area. During the new year's celebrations all the churches around Alburgon, Nakuru, Kenya met in the church which was full to capacity inside out.

APRIL LAST YEAR ARTICLE
A 3,000 seater church in Elburgon, Kenya
Rev. Samuel Muya of Talents Revival Centres in Elburgon, Kenya came to the UK in March, 2003 to solicit for funds to build a church for his congregation back in Kenya after facing eviction by the landlord. His aim was to go and buy a plot and build a church according to his specifications to tally up with the modern days. After a fundraising in April last year organised by Kenyans in London he was given about one million Kenya shillings to start the work. He went back home and did just that. One year down the line he has done an impressive job and the congregation could not wait to move to their new premises but they have already moved into the new premises without the roof. He is now appealing to friends to help them complete the construction of their church as they have now exhausted all the funds. He is planning to come to the UK in the month of May 2004 for further fundraising to complete the building. His contact is 0734745609 or 002545131252 - email samuelmuya2003@yahoo.com

Rumors
Let not your heart be guided by
The rumors that you hear,
But give the victim every chance
To prove he is sincere.
Let not your mind be poisoned by
The darts some people throw;
Investigate, and try to find
The facts you ought to know.
It is so easy to condemn,
And play a dirty game,
To manufacture lies, and to
Besmirch a worthy name.
Be careful when you read reports
Or hear them on the air,
Some words escape the censors,
And could be quite unfair.
Be careful in your judgment of
The rumors you receive,
And take your time before you choose
The things that you believe.

The Tongue
It is a helpful tool
That is used as a dangerous weapon
It is so light
Yet we fail to hold it
Instead of using it as a magic wand
To tap a bit of encouragement upon one’s heart
Or a smile upon one’s face
We use it as a sword to cut people down
Leaving their hearts broken
And their self-esteem low
Instead of using it
To turn ourselves into little angels
Placing blessings upon one’s life
We use it to turn ourselves
Into fire-breathing dragons
Who insists on one’s life being taken
We use it to curse others
Not realizing we are really cursing ourselves
We must learn to hold this dangerous weapon
Before we kill others as well as ourselves
We must learn to watch the words
That we allow to roll off of it
We must allow it to be known
As a piece of gold from heaven
Instead of the flames from hell

Every Year
Life is a count of losses,
every year;
For the weak, are heavier crosses,
every year;
Lost springs with sobs replying
unto weary autumn's sighing,
While those we love are dying,
every year.
The days have less of gladness
every year;
The nights, more weight of sadness,
every year;
Fair springs no longer charm us,
The winds and weather harm us,
The threats of death alarm us,
every year.
There come new cares and sorrows,
every year;
Dark days and darker 'morrows,
every year;
The ghosts of dead loves haunt us,
The ghosts of changed friends taunt us,
And disappointments daunt us,
every year.
To the Past go more dead faces,
every year;
As the Loved leave vacant places,
every year;
Everywhere the sad eyes meet us,
In the evening's dusk they greet us,
And to come to them, entreat us,
every year.
"You are growing old," they tell us,
every year;
"You are more alone," they tell us,
every year;
"You can win no new affection,"
"You have only recollection,"
"Deeper sorrow and dejection,
every year."
Too true! - Life's shores are shifting,
every year;
And we, are seaward drifting,
every year;
Old places, changing, fret us,
The living, more forget us,
There are fewer to regret us,
every year.
But the truer life draws nigher,
every year;
And it's Morning-star climbs higher,
every year;
Earth's hold on us grows slighter,
And the heavy burden lighter,
And the Dawn Immortal, brighter...
Every year...

The Unmoved Mover
Fascinating, isn't it
to see the stars in motion on any given night
all rotating around the North Pole, Polaris,
that unmoved mover, God
who stays fixed and all the others try to reach Him-
How easy at times to imagine Him as Aristotle imagined Him:
"in Aristotle's metaphysical scheme, the perfect being, the unmoved mover, does
nothing,
and plays no part in the activities of the world, but only serves it by being
its purpose and goal." 1
I know that the words of a book I recite every Sunday says differently,
But when I see all these people
all around me
and this life, I remember:
We’re all trying to get there, all trying to reach Him,
but no matter how hard all of us try,
we can't, we just can't.
Looking up at the night sky on my nightly walk
I see that fixed point of light
The one which all the other stars rotate around
but no matter how high
my arm reaches out
I can never touch that star.

Response
I assume God to be an absence
Until He responds.
And He responds when He wishes to.
When He needs to.
He may spend much time or very little time
But He is there and He responds
When He needs to.
I just take it for granted that He's there.
And I do what I need to and when He wants to
He shows up.
I know He's there when He answers
My prayers in His own time.
And if I confess and speak with an honest heart
I know He hears
Because I have witnessed His response.
I don't need to have Him hold my hand
Everyday
Because I thrust He's there
I just take it for granted that He's there
Like any child who grows to trust his parent
And I do what I need to and when He wants to
He shows up.

Prayer
Give me wings
Infinite in lightness.
Enter my vision,
As you did David’s at midnight.
At Midwinter
Teach me the story
Of stars and their cherubs.
Be my torch
On the dark horizon’s border,
My lamp
In the fog of fear.

The Alphabet of God
Invent a heart
With a wolf’s song.
Construct a soul
With an eagle’s wing.
Weave a mind
With a dolphin’s fin.
Design a dream
With moonlight.
Seek the castle of spirits
And linger in the chambers of love.
Caress the divine details,
Traveling towards the morning star.
Do not forget the alphabet of God
Descending from the clouds
As rainbows.

10th January 2005
In Leviticus 27 it says that ‘If you
make a special vow to dedicate someone
to the Lord by paying the value of that person, here is the
scale of value
to be used. A man between the ages of twenty and sixty is
valued at fifty
pieces of silver; a woman of that age is valued at thirty
pieces of silver’.
I was really upset when I read this. In the Lord’s eyes a
female is worth
less than a male. So is this to cover the practice of the
day, like women
not being heard in church. Have we moved on from this? But
then what right
do I have to question what God thinks, as He made me
anyway? No wonder so
many women suffer from low self esteem and self worth. For
thousands of
years men have always been paid more for doing the same job
as a woman. So
if you are a man today reading this, consider what you can
do for those
women around you who struggle with their confidence. What
can you do to
encourage them?
Have a blessed week
Love
