"This is the year of expansion"

Bishop Mark Kariuki the Overseer of Deliverance Church in Kenya held several crusades in Coventry and Nottingham during the weekend. Several in Coventry on Saturday and Sunday and one in Nottingham on Sunday 18th March 2007. All the crusades were well attended. He concluded his mission in the UK on Sunday evening at Coventry at Ambassador Outreach International Ministry where the host was Rev.  Francis Mungai and his wife Peris Mungai. During his sermon on Sunday evening, Bishop Mark delivered the word from Isaiah 54:2-4  which reads: Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations: spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes; 3 For thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left; and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited. 4 Fear not; for thou shalt not be ashamed: neither be thou confounded; for thou shalt not be put to shame: for thou shalt forget the shame of thy youth, and shalt not remember the reproach of thy widowhood any more."

A well attended crusade

Bishop Mark explained that this is the year of expansion and people should enlarge the area of their tent in this foreign land. "Stop the minority mentality, stop blaming others, stop thinking small. - You cannot be in Coventry, UK and think your Nation. You cannot expand without making a move. Make a move to the right or to the left but you have to make a move. Even the beggars in the Bible made a move. You cannot be in UK for all those years without making a move. I don't know whom you met when you arrived in the UK and they put in a box where they told you that you have to be within boundaries of your box. Come out of your box. Get ready for your expansion and expansions of your children. Don't let your culture, tribe or environment dictate you. A journey of a thousand miles starts with one step. Your wife might not like it, your husband might not or your children and family might not like it but you have to make a move for your expansion this year." Bishop Mark explained. "People don't like change. You don't have an option if you want to expand - you have to make a move to create room for your expansion. I am here to let to you know that God says that you have potential for your expansion. Your children have got potential for expansion in this country. It doesn't matter how big the challenges may be. Fear not. It is fear which hinders your progress.Goriath in the Bible was feared but we have no record of anyone who had been killed by Goriath." Bishop Mark concluded.
