================== Rufftone and DJ Kev rock the crusade
To the old generation including Mr. Seed it was zizizi zozo zozzoo but the for the young generation it was their moment. Ragga gospel music. Two gospel musicians from Kenya who came to London with Evangelist Theresa Wairimu, Rufftone and DJ Kev rocked the two days crusade at Emmanuel Centre, in Central London. Their music attracted a large number of young people at the crusade. A composition of Swahili and English beat was easy for the worshipers to catch up with rhythm. Evangelist Wairimu took the platform after the music. She started her sermon by asking the congregation to donate for the famine in Kenya. She explained that Faith Evangelistic Ministries (FEM) in Kenya has organised a big feeding program for the famine hit areas in Mombasa, Miji Kenda where people are eating cactus due to the famine brought by drought. The ministry intends to feed about 650,000 families in coast. She explained that the ministry teaming up together with well wishers including Standard Bank who have agreed to feed 20,000 people, Israel Embassy in Kenya who has agreed to donate medical doctors and medical equipment and medicine. The feeding program takes place as from 16th to 19th December, 2004. The processing, which will include over 100 buses will be treating in the morning and feeding in the afternoon. She requested Kenyans in the UK to be part of the project. The presents donated generously and those who were unable to attend can make their donations through Faith Evangelistic Ministry UK, P.O. Box 20430 SE17 1WR London. Cheque in the name of Faith Evangelistic Ministries. The evangelist preaching concluded with her sermon entitled "You are set apart". Preaching from From Mark 4:35-41 the evangelist explained that God has set you apart through crisis. She explained everyone is in God's making and whenever someone is in crisis it is high time you realise that you are in God's making. "Don't laugh to those in problems as they are in God's making as it pains to mould a character." The evangelist took an issue with children and their parents. Most of the parents are not working out for their children. They never beat them and the end of it all children do whatever they want. "I have seen some of our children abroad insisting to sleep in their parents beds and the parent to sleep down - hear me and hear well, all of you are here today and you are what you are today because your parents worked for you overtime." the evangelist concluded.

================== Lord's supper as the bishops leaves for Nairobi
The Anglican Bishop of Mt. Kenya South the Rt. Revd. Timothy Ranji told the Kenyan Christians in the UK not to quench the fire of the Holy Spirit. He pleaded with them to keep the fire burning in their hearts as this will keep off the spiritual enemies. He said that wild animals would only be kept away from their prey in a park by the burning fire. He said it was necessary for Christians to meet for prayers and fellowships as often as possible so that they can encourage one another. Hence they would keep the fire burning. The Bishop said that partaking in the Lord's cup meant that we share in Christ's tribulations and also in His exaltation. We also share with our friends and family members the joy and love of Christ on the cross. He challenged the Kenyan Christians to preach the Word of God to all people despite being despised and rebuked sometimes. We have so many Namans today who are not willing to go to wash in Jordan due to pride and even self -righteousness. But God can make you to be Jordan for today so that many might be washed through you and be healed. The Bishop was preaching during a very extraordinary farewell Christian Dinner on Wednesday 23rd November, 2004 hosted by the Kenyan Anglican Fellowship, Mothers' Union members in East London, to say good-bye to Bishop Timothy before he flew back to Kenya the following day. After the dinner the Bishop celebrated the Lord's Supper. Many of those who witnessed and even participated were all filled with heavenly joy. They said that it was the first occasion of its kind here in UK ever to be held by Kenyan Christians. The occasion was attended by among others the Rev. Simon Maina and his wife from Worthing, Pastor Isaac Kamweru of Destiny Ministry and members of the Mothers' Union who included Mrs. Maina, Jane Martin, Agnes Mugo, Jane Kang'ethe, Eunice Gathoni, Mrs. Karanja, and Elizabeth Kang'ethe the M.U. Secretary. Others included Martin Wahinya KAF Secretary, Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Maina, Wanyoike, Newton and the Ven. Kenneth Kaharethe Co-ordinating person of the Kenyan Anglican Fellowship, East London. The Bishop later thanked the Mothers for their hospitality and then blessed all those who were attended the occasion.

"We stand by the
word of God''
The Rt. Rev. Timothy Ranji the Anglican Bishop of Mt. Kenya South Diocese was the Guest preacher during the Kenyan Anglican Fellowship Kiswahili service in East London. In his sermon the Bishop said the we need to ask God to extend our territories like what Jabez in the Old Testament prayed. 2 Chronicles 4: 9-10. He said that God allowed storms to develop in Africa so that on the process they can run away hence God sending them to other parts of the world where He wants them to serve Him. He even surprised the worshippers when he said that 'Kenyans should be grateful to the former president Moi who made them to run away from their country'.
He asked parents to teach their
children their original mother tongue or vernacular which is their home
language. He said that there is richness in the preservation of our indigenous
languages as they are God-given. Languages also help to preserve our cultural
heritage. He reminded the congregation to remember 'Jerusalem' their home
countries. On the contemporary issues the Bishop said the stand by the
African Anglican Church is very clear on human sexuality as it is stated in the
Scriptures, 'God created male and female', anything else besides this teaching
is not Christian. He also said that he does not advocate Euthanasia and abortion
as these are all evil practices. He asked the congregation to depend on the Holy
Spirit as He is the guide for all believers. He asked them to live a life of
Holiness. The service had been organised by the Kenyan Anglican Fellowship, East
London. It was well attended by among others Anglican Christians from ACK
Dioceses of Thika, Nairobi, Nyahururu, Mt. Kenya Central, Mt. Kenya South and
also others from South Africa. The Bishop had been invited by the Venerable
Kenneth Kahare the Priest-in-charge of Anglican Missions
London. For more information about Kenyan Anglican Fellowship in London and UK

Welcome to the Holy Land of Israel
The Kenyan team of Faith Evangelistic Ministries concluded their 8-days tour in Israel on Friday 29th October, 2004. The team lead by Evangelist Theresa Wairimu enjoyed the tour in the holy land concluding their tour on Thursday by visiting the dead sea where the team bought a lot of body washing salt and black mud from dead sea which is said that after washing with it the result is healthy skin that is silky and soft. On their arrival on Friday 22nd October 2004 the team was welcomed by the Kenya Ambassador in Israel Ms H.E. Ms Felistas Vunoro Khayumbi and the team had a dinner with her in one of the prestigious hotels in Tel Aviv. Having paid about KShs. 100,000 for the trip the team says that the tour was worth the money. A team of 112 Christians, 107 from Kenya and 5 from the UK with a powerful leadership of Evangelist Theresa Wairimu the team enjoyed every bit of the tour. Notably was the low number of men present. About 15 men turned joined the tour. Mr. Seed is teaming up Christian teams in the UK and Kenya for a bigger tour to the Holy Land of Israel next October. About 22 people in the UK have already contacted Mr. Seed to keep them updated. Four people in the UK want to pay for their parents back in Kenya and they will also travel to meet them in Israel. Far more photos taken from Israel by Mr. Seed dot Mrs to appear on this column soon.

THE GARDEN TOMB WHERE JESUS WAS BURIED
Joseph of Arimathea once was weak and fearful but in that moment when Jesus died gained courage. Joseph’s courage was exposed by his love. Once weak now bold, he asked for the body of Christ and Pilate stunned by the request checked to see if Jesus was dead. When Pilate found out that Jesus was dead he gave the body to Joseph. The dead redeemer was again with friends. He no longer suffered the indignities experienced at the hands of the religious and the Romans. Joseph took him to a garden that was nearby and buried Him in a tomb that had never been used. MORE |

After Jesus left his home at Nazareth he in settled Capernaum to call and teach his first disciples. Today, millions of Christians come to this site every year to see Capernaum and its surrounding sites. Some of the most popular spots include the Bread and Fish Churches, the Batrus Church at Tabha and the mountain of Happiness. There are also restaurants in Capernaum that serve descendants of the fish Jesus ate, and other places that take people out on little wooden boats much like the ones in which Jesus travelled. |
The town of Capernaum stretched for two-thirds of a mile along the north shore of the Sea of Galilee. Its harbor for fishing boats extended for over half a mile |
